He served as a S.W.A.T. member, career criminal investigator, police supervisor, manager, and Commander. He has been involved in countless complex criminal investigations including officer involved shootings, homicides, assaults, gangs, narcotics, and criminal wire taps. He has managed several multi-million-dollar policing operations including municipal police contracts and corrections facilities. He oversaw a $1 million annual police sub-contract for the Coachella and Stagecoach Music and Arts Festivals, an event with well over 100,000 attendees daily, and worked with Federal authorities regularly including during Presidential and Speaker of the House visits to the Coachella Valley. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and earned an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
